We came together Knowesys (know-ê-sis) in 2008. Our consortium is an exciting, passionate, leading edge group of thought-partners, who also happen to be an international network of consultants, coaches and facilitators. Cindy and Don are both fortunate to be founding members along with Carol Mase, Tom Roy, Tom Woodman and Julie Denomme. We all share a passion for results and global impact, and our collaboration deepens our expertise on organizational and leadership transformation. Together, we bring well over 150 years of experience, insights and learning to our work and access to a much larger pre-vetted network which provides additional scalability and diversity, allowing us to connect the right people to the right project. In Aristotle’s words, “the whole is greater than the sum of its parts.”

Dr. Carol Mase
Carol challenges leaders and their organizations to think differently about the world and how they can achieve their fullest potential in it. Her unique background unites business and biology, psychology and physics, bringing them into creative tension and generating tools and applications for all levels of the organization – from the C-Suite to the manufacturing floor. Carol has worked as an entrepreneur and an executive in Fortune 500 companies, always introducing fresh ideas that produce innovation and change, locally and organization-wide. She holds a degree in Psychology/Education, a Masters in Human Ecology/Interpersonal Relations, and a Doctorate in Veterinary Medicine.
Tom helps leaders and their organizations become resilient and resourceful in the face of destabilizing challenges. He works with clients to surface hidden constraints and develop understanding that powers courageous, purposeful leadership. Tom has led large scale strategic initiatives and developed leaders and multi-cultural teams in rapidly shifting, often hostile environments. For over thirty-five years he has served on four continents as an independent advisor and as a senior executive for an industry-leading European multinational. Tom is also an instructor in executive development and graduate business programs. He attended the University of Virginia law school and Princeton University.
Tom has 19 years of broad-based information technology experience across varied industry segments. Recent engagements have him focused on international large-scale, enterprise-wide organizational change initiatives, but his passion is to bring change to the emerging energy industry. With his roll-up-the-sleeves approach, Tom focuses his clients on aligning organizational efficiency and effectiveness, which increases the likelihood of successful outcomes. He believes that the speed and accuracy with which people and systems process information is a key driver in an organization\’s ability to adapt to our rapidly changing world in a way that is innovative and imaginative. Tom is a speaker, entrepreneur and MIT-educated business process analyst.
Relentlessly forward-looking, Julie is known for inspiring clients to stretch beyond the known and comfortable to consciously envision and realize results that serve the highest needs of individual, organization and community. With an unwavering belief in human and collective potential, Julie brings 20 years of experience and a systems approach that builds organizational learning, impacts shared innovation and accelerates the capacity for purposeful and transformational change. Her hands-on change leadership coaching provides what it takes to navigate through significant change for both individuals and organizations. Julie is a certified and accredited Executive Coach from Royal Roads University.
